Greenhouse Cultivation Assistant –
Entry Level
Location: Augusta, New Jersey
Job Type: Full-Time
Starting Hourly Rate: $20-22
Join our dynamic cultivation team and embark on a rewarding career in the burgeoning cannabis industry. We are seeking an enthusiastic Greenhouse Cultivation Assistant to support our Head Grower. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about plant care and interested in gaining extensive experience in the cannabis cultivation field.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in all phases of cannabis cultivation from seed to harvest

Implement and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as directed by the Head Grower.

Perform routine manual labor tasks in the greenhouse, such as planting, trimming, and general plant upkeep to ensure optimal plant health and productivity.

Monitor plant health and report any signs of distress or disease to senior staff promptly.

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to comply with safety and sanitary regulations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; further education in horticulture or a related field is a plus.

Strong interest in horticulture or botany, with prior experience in a greenhouse or agricultural setting preferred.

Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and kneeling for extended periods.

Reliable and able to maintain a consistent schedule.

Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.

Prior cannabis cultivation experience is beneficial but not required.
