Rosemarie Moyeno-Matos Joins Safety & Regulatory Compliance Advisory Board for North Lake Supply

Updated: Mar 11, 2022

North Lake Supply, a New Jersey-based adult-use cannabis business applicant, announced today the addition of Rosemarie Moyeno-Matos as a member of their Safety & Regulatory Compliance Advisory Board. Rosemarie brings over 20 years of experience practicing cannabis, business and real estate law.

“We’re really excited to have Rosemarie join our Safety & Regulatory Compliance Board.” said President and Founder, Alex Kleynshvag. “She has been working with us since the inception of North Lake Supply in late 2018. Safety and compliance are of top priority not only for us, but also the state of New Jersey. We are blessed to have guidance from advisors who bring experiences that translate well into our operation and the cannabis industry. Rose has always been one of our biggest supporters since the beginning, not only believing in our vision, but also believing in us as leaders and entrepreneurs.”

As a veteran-led business, North Lake Supply takes safety and regulatory compliance seriously. The company’s goal is to set a precedent for cannabis businesses in the adult-use market in New Jersey. Cannabis has long been stigmatized as an unsafe product due to the unregulated markets in which it has been sold. Robust safety and regulatory compliance measures, such as those outlined by the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission, will help in legitimizing the efforts that go into producing a consumable such as cannabis.

“I am honored to have been asked to join North Lake Supply’s Safety & Compliance Advisory Board. Having spent the last twenty years as a practicing attorney representing clients in heavily regulated industries, including cannabis, I look forward to working with my fellow board members in providing sound and knowledgeable advice to a company that has proven time and again that consumer safety and regulatory compliance are at the forefront of its business model, and not just an afterthought.” said Matos.
