Jerry earned a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University, is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has more than 35 years of experience in financial lines insurance and surety, risk management, construction claims, federal contracting, employment law, New Jersey Municipal Land Use, environmental, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation. Jerry has experience in international and cultural affairs, working with the Department of State as well as various intelligence, law enforcement, and foreign officials. Mr. Carozza has been in private practice, in-house with a major U.S. insurance carrier and served with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan as the Chief of Afghan National Army Legal Development and Parliamentary Affairs Teams during the 2010 surge and bloodiest year of the 20-year Afghan War. Jerry is also the author of the newly released book, The Strangest of Places: Building Castles Made of Sand in Afghanistan that provides insight into the U.S. effort in Afghanistan and plight of the veterans who fought America’s longest war. Jerry and his wife live in beautiful northeast Pennsylvania and have five wonderful children.
